Dr. Helmut Rothenberger founded the Dr. Helmut Rothenberger Holding in Anif near Salzburg, Austria, in 1995. The purpose of the family holding is not only to ensure the security of its assets, but above all to form the basis for a globally active, innovative, and constantly growing Group of companies that now includes more than 100 operating companies and has 6,000 employees.

The main objective of the holding structure is to make our Group viable for future generations and to ensure its continued growth, as well as to guarantee the sustainable and long-term success of the family-owned Group. The operating companies are therefore divided into Pipe Tools and Environmental Technology, Machine Tools and Components, Industry, Trade and Real Estate. Each division is managed by the family and management through fixed portfolio management from within the holding structure.

All activities and ideas are based on our corporate philosophy and our self-image as entrepreneurs. These are expressed in our 7 corporate values: cohesion as a family, trust, responsibility, efficiency, quality, courage, and entrepreneurship.

The charitable work of our TOOLS FOR LIFE Foundation, as well as responsibility for the sustainability of our companies and our actions, represents yet another main focus.

We have the goal of being CO2-neutral by 2025 in order to make an active contribution to a better climate and a secure future.

Our company sculpture ROTONDO expresses all this:
rings opened upwards as a sign of our cosmopolitanism for cultures and technologies, narrowing rings as a perspective for looking to the future.
